Have you done all the Windows Updates and Firmware update? There is also an updated driver from N-Trig. Mine seems to respond well. (i5/8GB/256GB model)

I'll be sure to stop by my local Microsoft Store and check it out. I'd like to get a feel for it before placing an order.

Maybe it's a driver issue. Didn't they just release a big updated yesterday? This guy has only had the until for two days at most. Not sure if I trust a review already.

For some reason mine won't allow me to link accounts to Facebook but I do get the news feed. I've uninstalled both Facebook versions. Then rebooted and reinstalled the official Facebook app. I guess a little patience was needed. Mine is now syncing properly.

Scaling on the Metro side is fine. The traditional desktop is useable but might be a pain for those with fat fingers. I could also see people having problems reading text with bad vision. I'm typing this right now in IE on the device. I haven't got an official date of general release other than...

Just got a ThinkPad 8 in for testing from Lenovo today. There is no stylus option which is unfortunate because at this resolution on a 8.3" tablet you pretty much need one to use the desktop mode effectively. It's a really nice tablet though in terms of build quality.

I hope they stay with the matte black color. It hides marks and looks like Darth Vader's tablet.

I picked one up last night. I think the Surface Pro 128GB at this price point is a great buy and will hold me over until the Surface Pro 3 which I think we'll see more significant changes around size and weight with Broadwell.

I'm looking at the Surface Pro 2 as a possible notebook replacement in my organization. Being able to dock is a huge deal. Without the docking feature ready day one I'll have to wait longer for full testing and possible deployment.

From my conversation with my Nokia rep this was all a Nokia thing not AT&T. They pulled the update before AT&T could finalize testing.

Look I'm going to make it very clear. It came directly from my Nokia rep. She has no reason to lie to me because it effects a pilot program we're doing with Windows Phone 8 at my work. We'll get GDR2 in October and GDR3 in November. Hopefully sooner in October but no later than 10/21.

They're not skipping GDR2. We'll get it in October and GDR3 in late November. So much speculation on this site. Two of us have told you all exactly what's going down straight from Nokia.

For most people it's Amber that's really the big deal. In my case I just need the wav file support because that's what our Cisco voice mail system uses for voice mail attachments over email.

No it's still GDR2 because I was told GDR3 doesn't come out until November. Right after the release of the new phablet.
