Since I bought my Surface Pro I hardly ever use my Nexus 7 anymore, it's pretty much stuck car commute podcast duty. The only time I use the N7 as a main device is if I'm going somewhere by motorcycle. If I crash I don't want to break my $1300 device too :winktongue:

1. I dunno, I bought the 128gb version. It's possible to delete some stuff off the ssd to make more room, you can install the 8gb recovery onto a USB drive, and can free up something like 6gb if you disable hibernate mode. 2. No issue with the charger, I could keep the cable facing down though...

The SP doesn't get that hot, my old Macbook would get so hot it felt like it could almost burn you.

I've noticed the same thing when on N wireless (the Surface seems to have an issue with all N routers). At work it has no issues with connections at all, even waking up from hibernating. When at home it seems to have an issue with being assigned an IP address, it sees the signal but no data is...

I get about 4-5 hours with normal usage, 15% brightness, no bluetooth and max CPU set to 99%. I was playing DoD at full settings at around 10% brightness and got just under two hours of gameplay before I had to charge at 5%.

I've played TF2 already and DoD Source and they played totally smoothly. This is with the settings on max and my max CPU settings at 99% (no turbo).
