I upgraded to W10 and I somehow feel the OS is not really "finished" (bug free). Simple things like right clicking on the desktop takes a long time, cortana crashes sometimes, notification center does not show settings every time I open it. So, I am not really surprised if your laptop heats...

I was not using any of the apps on my PC. But now, with W10, the apps are more easily accessible and the best part is that they act as regular resizable windows instead of being full screen. Since the upgrade, I have been using Mail, FB, Twitter apps on my PC and I love 'em! It's so convenient...

Yes. 10166 is fit to be a daily driver. Some minor bugs here and there but mostly O.K. for daily use. I have been trying out every build and then rolling back to 8.1. But after 10149, things are really good. So far I have not rolled back after 10149.

I have the KB3035583 installed in my W8.1. I still don't see a reserve button in my task bar.

I lost my original charger i got with my 820 and started using 2A Samsung charger instead. Now, none of the other chargers work. Not even power banks. Heavily regretting my decision.

It would be nice to have a fap counter. You know, for research purposes.

Hello peeps, I held back from updating to Windows 10 for many days and yesterday night the curiosity was too much to bear. I went ahead and installed Windows 10 on my over two year old Lumia 820. So how was it, you ask? HUGE MISTAKE !! :D Absolutely nothing worked. - Sim card not detected...

Windows Central should start using Vimeo instead of Youtube. Videos are much much easier to upload on Vimeo when compared to Youtube. Of course, it will reach lesser audience but since the videos are embedded in the articles, I think it should be able to reach the right audience at least...

If its just the display then it should cost you around 4k. Maybe something else is also broken. Ask for details.

Since the touch is working fine, your phone's digitizer is probably fine too. However your screen seems to have been damaged. Take it to your nearest Nokia care center for a replacement. I estimate the cost to be Rs. 4,500 or less, if you have crossed your warranty period.
