I shoot in 5MP + 34MP DNG (RAW) The RAW images cannot be edited on the phone, but I get them on my computer and use Adobe Lightroom for editing.

Lightroom is an Adobe Product, like Photoshop. If you have the latest Black Firmware on your 1020, change the camera settings to shoot in RAW (Un-Processed) I then transfer the photos to my computer where I process the photos in Adobe Lightroom. Think of it as taking it to a dark room to process...

Not speaking for anyone else but myself here, but I shoot in RAW and then process the photos in Lightroom.

I think Black Z and I are alone on this battery boat, because my phone sinks overnight when I'm not even using it....in Battery Saver Mode! My old iPhone 4 would last a few days between charges. I'm lucky if I can get my Lumia 1020 to last 24 hours. I would love to have a Lumia 1020 "S" model...

If you have "Favorites," then those photos will show a thumbnail on the Camera Roll/Saved Photos tile. Alternatively, if removing favorites is not what you want, you can make the Photo Tile smaller, thus disabling the thumbnail. Removing all favorites will make the thumbnail randomly select...
