In the original Microsoft Camera app in WP 8/8.1 you had the option to tap to focus and shoot.

I've been trying but it's so hard to manually dial in the right focus. I've gotten some good moonshots with my past 720 and Icon.

My 950 was on 0% for about 10 minutes before it progressed.

My brother has a Z2 and it gets pretty hot even when just taking photos, causing the camera app to shutdown.

I think the camera button sticks out more because it's a 2-stage shutter button. It's the only explanation I can think of.

Re: Microsoft Phone 10 wanted features. I would like to see new visual feedback for pressing buttons, because the current 'pressing' animation is too subtle and not pretty enough. Nothing too flashy, just maybe some color and a subtle visual effect. Anyone else want this?

I'll link them to this thread. Though I believe that all Icons are suffering from this issue, it's just that most people haven't noticed it yet.

I have tried all kinds of fixes recommended to me by the Lumia Help team and none of them worked. They have notified the concerned team so I hope to see a display/firmware update to fix it soon.

I flashed using LSRT, so it was a clean upgrade.

Not to mention the hit to battery life since all the pixels light up. I actually noticed it on low brightness on the start screen at night, because I was able to see where the screen meets the bezel when it was usually hard to tell before.

I restarted, soft reset, hard reset... and it still persists.

I don't have any delay or lag. Everything else is working perfectly.

I usually keep my brightness on the default low day and night, but the red tint is barely visible in the day (even on high/auto brightness), which is why I didn't notice it until the evening.
