It's hardware i think. When you look at the camera sensor under the bright light do you see anything unusual on the glass?? It can't be fixed with software i guess, return your phone to the store where you bought it and ask them to fix it or to give you brand new device.

Re: Do you feel this phone is overpriced ? Yes i think it is. It could be little cheaper. There are other, overall better and cheaper Android alternatives.
