For updating to the new 14295.1000 build, I had to change my Samsung settings to: PhoneManufacturer = MicrosoftMDG PhoneModelName = Lumia 950 XL PhoneHardwareVariant = RM-1085 Just changing the Phone Manufacturer didn't worked for me...( my phone was stuck on 14291)

found a solution for using the proshot app as default camera app, but i don't know if it is illegal or not. If anyone want to test it, just bing/google proshot mod winphonehub. thanks for linking my tutorial. when i find some time, i can translate it into an english version.

Did you do a hard reset after updating to the new build.

Well, like i said...with the camera app pro shot i am able to focus on things. With the original windows 10 camera app it is not working.

I edit the reg to a Lumia 925 and a Lumia 820. With both i get again the same error, that after i installed the preview an doing a hardreset, i have no Setting app and no edge browser etc.

yep....after the first reset, i had to reset through the button combination because the Settings app is not available. I am using this Firmware

I tried the the new build, but after 6 Hard Resets the settings app is still missing. Is it necessary to edit the registry after a hard reset? Hope Gabe will release the new build today.

Well it won't work for me. I flashed my Ativ S with the GT-I8750_XXCMJ1_R_signed Firmware ( form your package) and also the GT-I8750_OXACMJ1_R_SIGNED.csc. After updating to the latest official Firmware( 14157 with 2424.15.3.2 f/w), I followed your steps exactly, but it just updated to 14219. Is...
