    Windows 10 is so bad...

Nope, not true. I've been using Surface 3 ever since it came out and the drivers craps out a lot. It's been years they still haven't fixed the damn thing, proves that Microsoft doesn't give a $h!T about quality software. And I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one experiencing Windows 10M's...

    Why Continuum failed?

Well people, here you go, Continuum doesn't make any sense at all. Thanks fatclue_98 for summing it all up

    Why Continuum failed?

I own a smartphone, a laptop, few desktop PCs and a Surface 3. Go ahead and make up a reason where I really need to get a very specific smartphone to run continuum on just so I could run those few Continuum apps in a big screen. Only reason I could think of is when I just want to toy around with...

    Why Continuum failed?

TLDR: I don't find Continuum as a necessity in the real world. Continuum while an awesome concept and in theory it's an innovation but in real life its plain stupid. There are no actual scenario I could think where I need to dock my phone on a readily available mouse, keyboard, and monitor...

    Possible retrenchment from MS

Good for you. Investing on a centralized subscription services, though convenient as it can be, isn't really the thing to do specially if it's from a company with history of abandoning their products or projects and eventually their own loyal costumers. I got fed up of being tossed around by MS...

    Possible retrenchment from MS

Windows 10 just isn't as good of an OS or perhaps Microsoft is really that terrible? Heres why: I have 2 Surface 3 in our household a device designed and made specifically by Microsoft to showcase their OS. I would expect it to be well optimised but the years of ownership proved me wrong. Even...

Windows Phone Is Dead Beyond Resurrection

Yup, Windows Phone definitely needs more live tiles more than real innovations. Live tiles, killer feature 👍.

Windows Phone Is Dead Beyond Resurrection

Windows 10M was already dead before it even came out. There hasn't been any major upgrade to the OS at all. I remember installing the early "developer preview" and I was really excited because now we have a proper notification "Action Centre". And yes it took Microsoft that long to make a...

Are you still using Windows despite all the attacks going on?

My first encounter was 10 years ago at my school and it was daunting. Then about a year or two ago from now I started playing with ElementaryOS but never understood a thing about Linux. It was only until recently, about a couple of months ago, that I started using it again and there was already...

Are you still using Windows despite all the attacks going on?

Auto updates? Yep there are "app stores" auto updating everything. And commands if so you choose Apps? Like I said there's an app store Actively being developed? Depends on what you mean Sandboxing? Not sure, I dont have the knowledge for that yet and since I use non proprietary(Open Source)...

Are you still using Windows despite all the attacks going on?

My simple answer to this is that the community behind Linux and Linux distros don't want anything that violates the user's privacy and it's up to those who wants to use Linux as a tool to do whatever they want whether for good or bad things, it's free after all.

Are you still using Windows despite all the attacks going on?

I'm guessing you've never used linux before that's okay tho.

Are you still using Windows despite all the attacks going on?

You are correct and that's why Windows is terrible for basic users, unlike Linux Windows is only being maintained by one company and for that matter no one (except to those who were granted) is able to look and inspect whether there are malicious codes in the system and that's why these...

Are you still using Windows despite all the attacks going on?

It's not about the amount of users but how the developers developed and configured their softwares. If it is about the user base then all of the major servers and mainframes like Google, Facebook, IBM, Amazon, and etc would have been compromised because they all use Linux. If a user only do...

Are you still using Windows despite all the attacks going on?

The worse thing is this kinds of attack always happens only to those devices running closed source non 'Free Software' operating systems that all of us relies on. I've never heard or read anything this bad that happened on Linux as a whole.

Are you still using Windows despite all the attacks going on?

True, but with the vast amounts of those affected machines is astonishing. Machines that all of us relies on everyday, hospitals, atm machines, business computers, etc etc. It's scary. This is a really big deal now that we know the computers that are running our lives can be compromised this...

Are you still using Windows despite all the attacks going on?

Does it give you a chill knowing that your beloved Windows OS is becoming a joke with all the security holes and backdoors lurking in the wild? Perhaps it's about time to give a try to the free software alternatives(aka linux)?
