I have read this tutorial Windows Phone 8.1 VPN - Try, Setup, Install, Connect | TechNet but I don't know what is the difference between Automatic VPN profile and Manual and there is this line there If the app is terminated, the VPN connection is closed. what does it mean by "app" ??
