    its offical 8.1 UNBRANDED, will just prompt you to set language,then when it boots up it will recomend you set cell settings for auto, and it sets the settings for the network, on cricket sms,mms,lte internet, everything seems to be working fine.... as for OTA updates im not sure maybe someone...

    the nokia tool ignores what version your phone says it is and flashes a rom from another region, it works i did it today
