Its worked! Discharging down to 0% then again recharging to 100% worked. Thank you!

Thanks for the suggestion! I will try discharging to 0%. Lets see if that fix it. Meanwhile I have updated my OS to GDR1. And it brings Cortana alpha to my phone. I am afraid that will drain more battery.

Hi! I have updated my Lumia 520 to cyan a day before. Earlier I used to have developer preview version and it ran fine without any problem. But since cyan update I am noticing a strange problem 1.battery drains tooooooo fast 2. Battery takes too much time to get charged. Am I the only one...

Ya me too had this but it can be fixed. Just go to speech setting>make it english US>then uncheck that something recognising native voice option> change speech back to English UK> restart the phone. Hare you go! It will start taking commands.

Just click on the folder icon just above the name to compress. It usually remains blank when expanded. Press it again to expand.

Use English UK as speech and language

For using cortana in india---- Change your language and speech to 'English UK'....that will do it. U don't have to change your region. I am using it by that setting.
