Looks like MS really wants us to switch to iOS or Android where get most of the new stuff (iOS) or at least get some modded versions of it (Android) I really love my 1020 but I think I'm done with WP especially if it keeps the ugly look that the W10 preview has.

If you think Denim changed something with your camera I'm pretty sure it's a placebo-effect - simply because they didn't change anything with the camera-app. Mine is slow as ever and the quality is still great. The phone itself still runs very smoothly and Cortana and the new folder-function...

I received Denim while sitting in a Caf? in Reykjavik on my open German 1020 :) Haven't noticed any big changes yet, except the better folders.

I bought the 1020 a few weeks ago after I destroyed my LG G2. Why? Even though it's an 'old' phone it still has the best camera around and it's running smooth without any problems. Also the polycarbonate -body makes the phone really durable - I managed to drop it a few times and there is not...

I think it's almost impossible to reach a shutter speed of 1/16000 and sync with the flash at the same time. Anyway 1/1000 is still a lot faster than most compact cameras or even dslr's when usig the flash.

I am going to travel to Iceland in February and there I'll try to get a few good shots of northern lights, which have similar conditions in terms of light as stars. If you are interested in seeing a comparison of the L1020 with a beginner dslm, I could definitely try how the L1020 works in...

The 5mp pictures will always look better due to oversampling. Also it doesn't matter if you shout in 5mp +highres or 5mp +raw; the 5mp picture will always be the same. Off topic: Have you managed to catch a few Aurora pics? If so, I'd love to have a look at them.

The 1020 still has the best mobile phone camera, but if you want a camera - get a camera. For about 100$ more you could get a Samsung NX3000 for example, which is a great dslm for beginners.

A few 1020's already got Denim. Won't be long until the rest follows.
