Yep chronically slow internet is the reason. I am not blaming anybody, it has just taken forever. However I am now installing and at least that is going much faster.

Windows update failed for me so I will have to use the upgrade tool. And all of last nights' downloading went to waste. :( EDIT Does anybody know how to stop it form downloading in the background so I can redirect my internet connection to the upgrade tool rather than windows update?

I have a pathetic connection so I likely will not see Win 10 on my laptop for a while (currently on 8.1). Especially if all 5 other active computers in the house start downloading at the same time. In other words, just here to hang out.

It would be disappointing if the feature was exclusive to new hardware, though it would make sense. I have a 1520 hopefully at least the camera in that is capable. Seeing as the camera currently captures at most 30 fps, 30 fps slow-mo would look horrible.

I believe it was in an emulator for WP10 build 10158 where there was mention of 120 fps video capture and I was wondering what happened to it? That is one camera feature that a photography noob like myself would make use of.

Go to the notification settings and tap on messaging. There is a setting there for the notification sound. There should at least be a shortcut to the notification settings from the sound settings. That would help avoid confusion like this.
