I'm not feeling the love Microsoft.

This might come in better: https://open.spotify.com/track/3PsDox1j73vVabjBNQCw8N?si=qNxNa2BcQTi1a5Z0US8vmQ :-)

    Is also Cortana abandoned now?

Back in the days when I used a Windows phone my assistant was Cortana. I was newer really impressed but it was more or less the option I had. However, I did use it for simple things and I took it for granted that Cortana would develop over time. Since I became an Android user I dropped Cortana...

What would it take for you to come back to Windows Mobile?

    1. Focus! IF Microsoft do not believe in, or even care about, their phones, why should we? 2. Apps. We need all “big” apps + small “local ones”. BIG sponsoring from Microsoft OR the possibility to run Android apps is badly needed. 3. Killer features. What do I gain if I chose a windows phone? 4...

Will Windows Central survive the death of Windows Mobile?

The World is changing and that option is of course also in the hands of this site... IF they would have stayed with a 100% focus on Windows mobile they would of course die, IF they continue to report "Microsoft stuff" in a way that people find interesting, they will survive. Simple as that.

Removed features: What do you miss the most?

What I miss the most is focus… I.e. When Nokia/WP came with new/fun and intelligent things and when Microsoft apps was better on WP vs Android/iOS. I went for the iPhone a couple of months ago and I will not go back to W10M as long as I do not gain anything (just lose).

    Thoughts on MS buying LinkedIn

I predict they will do like this: 1. Pay up 26 billion USD 2. Stop any feature development for 2 years while they remake the core of the LinkedIn system 3. Release the “new” LinkedIn which has almost the same features as the LinkedIn we know today (but without the finesse and also lacking some...

Trying to Convert a friend from Android to 950xl

WHY would you do this to someone you call a friend? The only thing he will gain with the 950/W10M is Continuum but the list of things he will lose is almost endless. (And, Android has their Continuum in the works and the same might come for iOS)

    News: Microsoft's future in mobile?

You could say that they have been pretty accurate... During these 2-3 years WP/W10M has lost almost all the market shares it had. On the other hand we have also been reading: ?Now when Nokia Belongs to Microsoft, the success Is coming? ?When W10 is ready, the success is coming? ?When a new...

    Microsoft Cheated Lumia Users

What? Do you think anyone in the industry consider less than 3% market share (and in fast decline) as "pretty good"? If this is "pretty good" what did you think of the 10% they had in Europe in 2013?

Microsoft ? Thanks for the good parts but it?s time to say goodbye

Well, I was a “fan” since I was building my first PCs running Dos v 5. AND, the Surface + WP was really something unique when first launched. Also the 360 was at least as good as the PS3. Since then it’s just been downhill! Everything that was good is now available from/on the competition and...

I am meeting Gabe Aul: give me ideas!

Ask him if he is happy with the market share of WP/W10M and why any customer should stay with Microsoft phones when all MS apps are available and in at least as good condition on iOS/Android... And, if he's in the mood of talking, ask him if he knows why Microsoft implemented the...

Microsoft ? Thanks for the good parts but it?s time to say goodbye

Due to a “recent” series of shortcomings (see details below) from Microsoft I have now decided to Switch to iPhone, PS4 and partly to iPad (I’ll keep my PC’s for now). Switching to iPhone::grin: At my work I get Androids and iPhones for free. But, being an old Microsoft nerd/fan I’ve BYOD the...

Yes, their time and our time is wasted for nothing

(Deja Vu) Palm all over again?

My uninformed GUESS is that Nadella felt that he had to choose between saving Office and WP. To secure the future of Office he did choose to let the ?WP only? restrictions for Office go. When ?good? Office was available on iOS/Android and the WP decline accelerated further there was not any...

Switched FROM Windows Phone? What are you missing most?

Changed to an iPhone. The only thing I miss is Live tiles even though I've come to understand that I didn't USE them a lot. I miss also to have a phone that was unique, the iPhone is pretty boring. The best thing about the iphone is that every thing is so fast and smooth AND off course real...

    Joe Belfiore uses an iPhone

If he and Microsoft has not deeply analyzed the iPhone and the rest of the competition before it is no wonder they are failing... I?ve been in the car industry and I know that they make sure that any interesting new model by the competition is bought, deeply tested and then stripped into...

Why wait for WM10 on older phones?

You do not need the latest Android or iOS to run the latest Microsoft Office apps... Nuf said.
