I will be upgrading a lumia 735 from 8.1 to latest Anniversary build. Was curious to hear how stable Windows 10 is on this phone.

I am thinking of upgrading my lumia 735 from 8.1 to windows 10 mobile through enrolling in windows insider and choosing release preview. Will that upgrade the phone to the latest Anniversary update build or will the phone go thru numerous upgrade build steps to get to that build?

If you decide to opt out of Windows Insider Release Preview will your phone stay on that last software build you had installed on your phone until you opt back in or will you still get automatic software updates downloaded to your phone?

Is there a way to disable or manage automatic software updates (not app updates) in windows 10 mobile. I am on a limited data plan and not always able to connect to wifi. If i am not aware that a update is being downloaded and not connected to wifi my data would get used up quickly.
