I know this is a stretch, bit I am hoping maybe there's a fix I'm just not finding. Plugged a ext HDD into my laptop and go Nothing! I hear what sounds like the disconnect tone as soon as it is plugged in and nothing else. I'd like to format the drive or get some of the info off if possible...
