Advanced Config Tool error - 'UnauthorizedAccessException'

Hi,

I am using Samsung focus flash.
Mango - 7720.
Running ACT 1.4.0.0 mango beta.

Interop-unlocked using this method on xda forums : [XAP] Internet Sharing + Interop Unlock all-in-one for Samsung Phones - xda-developers

Even heathcliff has an interop unlocking method ([GUIDE] INTEROP-UNLOCK for MANGO - No revert to NoDo - No 0x81030120 (Samsung/LG) - xda-developers), but I DID NOT use that.

Now my issue;

As soon as I open ACT from settings I get an error - 'UnauthorizedAccessException'. I can enter ACT but whenever I apply any changes it gives me an error saying - 'cannot apply changes'.

I would really appreciate any help on this. I did a lot of reading and looking around but wasn't able to find a fix.

well 'unauthorizedAccessException' is not actually an error. That is your interop unlock at work. Mine says the same thing on startup.

However I do not get the second error with 'cannot apply changes'. Everyone that I have seen posts with issues from this xap have been using Samsung devices. So I don't belive it works for them. Or you may have some extra unlocking to do.

Hopefully another samsung focus flash user can post his insights into this problem. I would really love to change accent colors and use google as a default search engine for browser.

pseudoware is a focus original user and he got his to work. He may have some insite as to how to get it to work on your machine as well. Give him a DM.
