Some of us just cant stand the look of some tiles on our homescreen.
They just don't ad up in your perfectly chosen theme.
For example the blue tiles of Here, or the Purple tiles of Nokia/MS.
There are apps who can change that for you, but of course never for the apps you have installed.
But do you have to leave it like that?
No, of course not.
It's my Phone and i want it to look like the way i want it.
So no compromises, and its time to get your hands dirty.
The basic idea comes from Djamol, he worked it out and i just using a part of that method to sooth my needs.

Yes it does, its the same guy who posted here earlyer and got his *** kicked for reasons unknown.
So i took a piece of his work and put it in to this tutorial.
I am not here to discus if its legal or not, just showing you the how.
For this example i have chosen the beta app of the Nokia Camera, the one with the purple tile.
The only things you need is a WP Phone ( with SD cart support ) and a PC.
For editing the tile i used Paint.net, its a free program and works great for transparency
You can find it on the web, just click download and instal
Now for your Phone, you need Windows Explorer, also a free app and can be found in the store.
Except for the last update it doesn't work anymore, so you have to sideload a older version of it.
For that you can also use the web
Just search for "Windows_Explorer_v1.0.0.0.xap".
But you need a developed unlocked Phone, otherwise you cant instal that app.
For the how to dev.unlock my phone issue you have to do a little work there for your own.
Al set?
Open the app "Windows Explorer and go to D:\
Then type in the Promtbar "wpsystem\apps".
You have to use the promt, otherwise it won't work ( you won't be able to find the systemfolder without the promt ).
When you are in the systemappsfolder look for a folder with the name {80b4b4a2-f7aa-49f0-b8ab-7b7390ce1014} ( or something simulair ) and look for the install folder and in that folder go to the assets folder.
Swipe downwards and if everything is okay you wil see there the camera tiles.
Now, select the folder"called "tiles". ( i know i selected the complete assetsfolder in the video, but that doesn't matter ) and copy that folder.
Now go back to the root of your SD cart ( you can use the backbutton ) and paste the tile folder there.
All done?
Now connect your phone to your pc or laptop and copy ( drag and drop ) that folder to your desktop.
Now the tiles are ready for editing ( or be creative and create your own tiles ).
I use for the editing Paint.net, be couse of the transarency.
Just open the tile in that program and use the magic wand to select the purple collor and delete it.
Then save your image.
Do that with both of these tiles.
After that, you can drag and drop the whole folder back to your sd cart.
Now launch the windows explorer app and copy that folder with the tiles and put them back in there original place
D:\wpsystem\apps\{80b4b4a2-f7aa-49f0-b8ab-7b7390ce1014}\install\assets and replace the tiles ( just overwrite them when promt ).
Thats it.
Now go back to your homescreen and remove the tile from there and then repin the tile back on your screen.
If you dont like it anymore? just remove the app and reinstalled it back from the store.
That wil undo all of your work, the same will happen when the app gets updatet.
Now grab the popcorn, sit back and watch the video.
Just remember, i am not here to discuss the ethicks of things.
