1st post and please forgive me in advance for my lack of knowledge and writing skills.
I have a shop with around 25 computers, we run a linux QNAP server with a windows server 2012 virtualization station running windows server 2012.
Recently I have run in to where 3 computers (down to one now, fixed others) will forget all the mapped drives EXCEPT for the mapped drive inside the virtual drive.
i.e. mapped drive A on qnap not connected
Mapped drive B to qnap virtual station connected.
The next day all drives are working (I have 13 mapped drives), couple days later not working during this time all other computers are working just fine, I can not figure it out.
I have tried multiple fixes i have found on the internet (and it has seemed to work on two computers) but this last one just is giving me a hard time. If I type the computer name in explorer (\\computer name) it can not find that server says to check computer name and try again, still sees the back up server though same name with a different number on the end.
Any help will be greatly appreciated
