I hope it's fake, the lumia 535 is quite a great budget phone, I understand that Microsoft wanna release a smaller version but it seems like they taking Samsung way of doing things , Windows need a flagship device, there are many budget to mid range devices for Lumias already

I hope not, at least not until Microsoft releases another high end phone. It's getting really crowded in the low/mid spec range. We need more power, not more budget friendly handsets.

The Lumia 535 is quite a good budget device, however it is not the, "bottom of the line", "dirt cheap" device like the 530.
Hopefully this will provide this, as the 5xx series gets better with devices like the 535, and the 4xx series becomes the new bottom of the line.
People may get tired of cheap devices, but they sell well in developing markets.
We all want new high end phones, but this phone is necessary to fill a gap that has emerged as the 5xx series got more high end.

the presence of actual dedicated keys and existing design make me skeptical

pretty sure they probably will avoid "4" anyway, the 530 is pretty low end as it is

Interestingly,when you look at the leaked image,it has nokia X design. Once MS had revealed they would be using Nokia X designs for budget WP devices in the future.

I think so, it's time says "3:30". I still think Nokia tradition is passed to Microsoft to avoid number 4 in their devices. I think it's not 430/435, it might be Lumia 330, and next series would be x50/x55. Like Windows is jump from 8.1 to 10.
I think 330 is reduced feature of 530 or maybe its specs is about equal to 520. (Maybe dual core 1 GHz, 512 MB Ram, 5 MP rear camera only, and more reduced censors).

And so there is another already passed fcc phone called Microsoft RM-1031 in some country, could it be another lower device than 330? 220? Or maybe a long waited 1030?
