As a SP2 owner I'm looking forward to seeing the SP3, which features and changes would make you want to buy one or upgrade from a SP2.
if they remove the fans we will end up in a xbox360 RROD hardware failureFunctionality is great, just need to make it thinner and lighter. I recommend doing so by removing the fans - mine never come on, unlike the sp1.
Sounds good!!2014 appears to be an even better year as Microsoft prepares for the release of Surface Pro 3. Sources close to Microsoft tell us that the device will be everything Surface fans have prayed for: It will have a 10.6-inch screen with a 2,560 x 1600 (300ppi) pixel resolution display and a choice of an i5 or i7 processor that produces even better battery life than the Surface Pro 2. Most importantly, the device will only weigh 1.5 pounds--not perfect, but much more manageable than the current Surface Pro 2.
