Holy focks. 190 euros for Windows Phone 8 smartphone like that. If WP8 doesn't sell globally with this one, it simply wont sell at all.

Supposedly in January in Asia, with Middle East and Europe following "quickly after". Other markets announced later on.

Get all apps working beautifully on these, and they will FLY on the high end units.

Will be a decision between this and 820. Lower cost than 820 = more money can be spent on buying shells

The 710 was one of the highest selling WP7 devices due to the price and availability so I can see this selling well if it gets in enough channels.

If it had a bigger screen I'd consider this.

This should be way better thinking this got much more competitive hardware in the price point and WP8 brings support for new essential regions and Windows Phone store support to many places.
Many countries in Asia and Middle East that have traditionally been big for Nokia and Samsung. Countries where Nokia used to dominate, but after abandoning Symbian it has disappeared in matter of couple of years with previously holding +60 market share.

Nokia hasn't abandoned Symbian just yet. They still make tons of Symbian phones.

They make Symbian phones, but no new ones. Also they have fired and outsourced their whole Symbian workforce that used to be in thousands. Trust me, i know.
