Windows 10 - why aren't installed applications shown in Search?

Windows 10 - installed applications aren't shown in Search

When I try to search for specific applications that are installed (and visible) in the Start menu, Cortana (or Search) doesn't find anything. Just web results and settings are shown.

Any way to clear the Cache or reset the search indexing so that everything will be searchable again?

Roll back to 8.1 and update it again to W 10 Mobie. Had same thing. Suddenly all apps dissapered, even settings and store.

That happened to me when I did a fresh install on my Lumia 635. It for fixed when I did a soft reset and left it alone to finish updating

Chances are the system is still search indexing and/or has issues doing so - my search is inconsistent at times too after updating

Solved now. Doing a upgrade reinstall with a fresh ISO seems to solve the issue. Apps showing now instantly.
