Are they ever going to fix unread txt/skype/email count on lock screen?

If I read my Skype messages or outlook emails on desktop, they don't always get reflected on my W10M Preview. I have to open the app (which is painfully slow for Skype) to clear the unread count on the lock screen or the live tile. It's been like this for quite some time. Really annoying when I'm switching back and forth between PC and phone as I roam around. Surely I'm not the only one with this issue? Any workaround?

This is my biggest annoyance with Windows 10 Mobile (and Windows 10 in general). They've received feedback on this more than once and regularly for a while, so I'm not quite sure what the issue may be.

They've had sync issues going back to 8.1 on phone and PC, really, so I'm guessing it's something on the back-end.
