W10 Tech Preview - 10080: Lumia Icon - To install, or not to install

Here's my issues list so far:
-Start screen resolution seems off and icons seem blurry. I found an option to enable the 3rd column of icons.
-Microsoft Band doesn't seem to be playing nice. A factory reset of the band now allows me to sync, but I can't get notifications on the band. Also occasionally I get in a situation where Bluetooth disconnects from the band and I can't reconnect it.
-The Podcast app crashes on app startup. Anyone else have this problem or know of a fix?
-The Battery Saver app crashes on app startup. Anyone else having this problem?
-Project Spartan seems kind of freezy and laggy
-Framerate in games isn't as good as Windows Phone 8.1 (Crossy Road, Spartan Strike

Everything else seems pretty good though. I'm liking the new interface and the new Music Preview app. I'm trying to decide if I want to use this on my Icon (my main phone) or go back to 8.1.

I still need to gauge battery life, but so far things don't seem too far out of the ordinary.

Have you tried accessing mobile Facebook? Everything is squished to the left!
(Can't screencap, as it won't let me.)

EDIT: OF COURSE Cortana doesn't recognize the Icon's MICROPHONE. Let alone my Logitech C510's.

EDIT 2: Able to access the Store, by searching for any app via the Store's web version.
Tried to re-download Lock Screen Text (as I use that for owner's information), but it is stuck at license acquisition. Maybe that's the reason?

Only problem is, if you are unlucky that restart turns into an infinite reboot loop ending with a rollback.

MS and Aul said this was tested,by their standards it should be something useable,how can they keep dishing out stuff that is too broke to use without fixing the bugs from the feedback we been giving.it should at least be useable for us to keep giving feedback.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
please MS work on our feedback so we know we are not wasting time testing the OS.the next build should be working at least.

Had no problem downloading. Same resolution prob as everyone else though. I can't get Cortana and Hey Cortana to toggle on and stay on, Icon.

Same Here.. I love hey Cortana..Im sensing something strange happened.. I upgraded and start screen was buggy, loading, slow crashing.. I was able to eventually get it working somewhat. There was an extras under , settings. right below updates and security. So anyway.. I decided to do a hard reset and it was working better, but still lots of issues. and when I reset, it lost the "extras", which had Cortana settings. the Cortana is now "Search" and hey Cortana is a separate app.. I almost wanna say that I lost the denim update somewhere along the line..Im going to do a recovery back to 8.1 and not restore my backup.. And then upgrade to 10 and see if its buggy or usuable.. and then i'll do a reset and during reset it will ask if I want to use an old restore, which will try next. I like some stuff. but its too buggy for everyday use..

As much as I really want to try it on my 930, it seems to be a bit of a mess at the moment, which is to be expected with pre-release s/ware. Although I'm really keen, I'll hold off until it's a bit more polished.

I would not install it. I forgot to remove Windows Insider from my phone and it downloaded the update. It was going to force it so I installed it with the intention of immediately restoring it back to 8.1 Fell asleep and the update installed, this morning recovered back to 8.1, and now my LTE radio is bricked. Windows Software Recovery Tool nor Lumia Software Recovery Tool work to get my LTE to work again. Everything else works when going back to 8.1 except data now.

EDIT: Turns out there is an LTE SIM Registration process that has to occur before the LTE will work. Idk when this changed because I could've sworn that after hard resets/software wipes, I used to be able to just pop my LTE SIM into my Icon and internet would just work.....

Not recommemded. I installed it, played with it for a while but I want go back to 8.1. There are too many bugs and performance issue. Not worth the hassle.

Got everything working, except two things
1. Mms - I'm in Canada, and while the access point install/uninstall worked with 8.1, it wont even install on this build.
2. No live tiles at all. I can't get a single one working. Just all the same all the time. Annoying, but ol well.

Just install besides a few tweaks after install everything is running as it should (accept a few issues here and there)

Haven't tried this myself, but from thurrott.com (I also am seeing error with screenshots but not sure whether its saving or not):

If you can’t take screenshots, do this. Many people who upgraded from previous builds noticed that screenshots weren’t working right. There are two steps to take. First, go into the Photos app ensure that screenshots really aren’t working: Sometimes you’ll see an error message, but it’s still taking shots. If they are not there, tether the phone to a PC, and, on the PC, navigate to the Pictures folder on the phone and then delete the Screenshots folder. Then, reboot the phone. You should be all set.

I just rolled my 1520 back after testing 10080. Going back to WP8.1 after 10 is like going back to your old girlfriend after you realize the new one is crazy. I know, it's just a preview build.

First of all...I'm going to love Windows 10. The taste I just had of it promises many cool things.

However, I'm going back to 8.1 on my Icon after accidentally (YES ACCIDENTALLY) installing the update yesterday. I see great things but as my main phone this isn't ready. I made sure to check out all kinds of items and provide feedback though.

My suggestion - hold off.
