Wi-Fi Just Stopped Working

Suddenly my wi-fi connectivity just stopped working altogether. I can't connect to my home or work networks. The weird part is that some apps are still delivering notifications (ie. new articles from news apps) and they'd have to be able to connect to the Internet to get the new content for the notifications. However, when I open the apps they all say something to the effect of "you're not connected to the internet".

Anyone had this issue and is there any fix that doesn't involve a hard reset? At this point all my files are on an sd card so a hard reset isnt as big a deal but I'd rather not if I don't have to.

If I remember correctly, this is one of rare but known issues at the moment. The only way to go is to reset or rollback... unfortunately. Try a soft reset by holding down the power button and the volume down button at the same time for ten seconds before trying any more drastic measures though. That can sometimes fix small connectivity issues. Good luck!
