Why do I have deferred app updates?

after upgrading my 730 to official windows 10 build .164 everything seems To be working fine , though there has been system app updates as reported on windows central about the camera app and phone app been updated but i havent got any update. even though i follow up the link to the app it shows no update available and only an option to open the app.

this issue i believe is faced by many officially upgraded devices, Microsoft has been deferring the updates i guess so as to release them first to 950/xl 650 , 550 . as of now there has been no system app update on my store apart from the third party apps which shows the store is working as it should be.

the camera app has been updated to v .164 but this camera app is still on .111 and there are no app updates .

Same for me, maybe are only reserved for Redstone Insider Program?

Doesn't say Redstone in the article. I'm running a 950xl on .164 and haven't seen the updates in UK yet. Some EU countries are just starting to get them.

I was wondering about this too.
The WC front page talked about a camera update.
I think it must be for the desktop app version only.
When I noticed the news article I was praying for a fix for the dismal camera performance on One touch XL.

I got today an update: ver 2016.218.141.0

But WHY I cannot get video stabilization on my 650 ???

EDIT: some updates ago I got video stabilization on My 520 and it works perfect. Then disappeared

thats what i meant pre installed win 10 devices are getting updates early.!!

well i am not sure about video stabilization!!
its on my 730 though

I have a L830 with the same issue. I have no update at all in the store. I hope I don't need to do a hard reset

I miss Updates for Alarm&Clock, Photos, Camera, Maps and Office. So from the last few days after official 164 rollout. After setting up my phone, i got all the updates. But now, nothing anymore.

Hope just a problem on MS Server side, or maybe they roll out in "Waves" now

Could just be rolling out slowly. It took me over a week to get the latest people hub update when it updated a few weeks ago. Other people had it but no matter how many times I checked, it said "Open" and not "Update". Then, magically one day, it showed up as an update.

been suggested to check region - perform soft reset but nothing solid
