Got up this morning, no update, so followed the instructions to clear Software\downloads, still nothing. Downloaded ISO and it fails at second boot!

I am beginning to lose interest now! Preview build on my laptop downloaded and installed way quicker, although that's probably down to the world and his wife trying to update. Took me over 5 hours to D/L on 50 mb fibre!!

Going to try again on my laptop, and if all is well, I'll try the same usb on my desktop.

Does anyone know why it would fail at second boot? Running genuine, activated 8.1, and never had previews on it.

Did you sum check the ISO???

Sorted now! Yay ( I think! ) I ended up digging out a brand new usb stick, resetting my router and crossing my fingers! Downloaded in less than 10 mins. It took longer to get it on to the stick! After 5 hours of a so called download (on 50 mb fibre!!) I just started again.

I hope those who haven't been insiders don't get a shock with just how different it is to 8.1. It is quick! Now my lumia 930 makes perfect sense.
