SP3 10130 screen flickers after inatallation

Hi all,

I just jump the gun and install Windows 10 preview on my SP3. Upon installation and login, the screen rapily on and off and the SP3 is unusable. Did anybody experience this or has a solution.

Rebooting does not solve the problem. From time to time I can access run and the powershell, but not the start menu.

Hi All,

I was able to update to 10158 through an ISO image. It worked for a couple of reboots and now the same thing happens again: The screen turn on and off, 1-2 times a second. I am hoping that maybe the newest build will be more stable and I might be able to get an image of it.

Do you have any ideas what is going on or, better, how to fix this?

I jumped the gun too. I'm still on 10130. My screen looks to small. I noticed I have updates in settings. I'll wait to see if that corrects the issue.

Okay, I am giving up. On the 10158, there is no boot without flicker. I have two USB sticks with the recovery Windows 8.1 on it and changed the boot sequence to usb-ssd, but I am getting an error message during the startup process.

What can I do to get back to 8.1 without using the Windows 10 UI?
