W10 on an Netbook

Does anyone know if W10 will run in 1024x600 resolution? In my experience 8.1 does not. Ive got an older netbook running Windows 7 and its ok, but if W10 will be lighter I'll look at putting 10 on it.

Yes you can, but it's still buggy and killing your battery at this point.
More, you can run apps on your netbook too:wink:

I'll never forget the time people put WP 8.1 on netbooks just for fun. c:

There's a patch to force a netbook to 1024x768 .. looks a bit weird but works fine otherwise

• Open RegEdit (type in regedit in the search box)
• Scroll up on the left pane to make sure you are at the very top of the tree.
• At the top menu, go to Edit then Find... and search for Display1_DownScalingSupported
• Change each instance you find from 0 to 1. Make sure you change every found instance, because otherwise this may not work.
• Once done, reboot.
