Just before leaving the office I ran update and saw it. Left it running and will finish it in the morning. Now that I'm home I'm downloading on my SP3. Haven't read anything about this build yet.

There isn't much in the blog post just that it's essentially better in every way than previous builds supposedly. What I have noticed is thermal management is definitely better in this build.

I'm running the Enterprise version, I wonder if they delay releasing the Enterprise version, which would explain why I'm not seeing it show up?

If you're not seeing updates being offered, try clearing out this directory (all files and subfolders) and then checking for updates again.

C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download\

Your mileage may vary... Use at your own risk... Etc.

Build 10130 is broken as crap. Just download the 10162 ISO or the previous one from a bootleg. That's what I had to do to get to 10162.

Do I have to boot from USB to install the build? Cuz I've just been running the iso immediately after it installs.

You got to make a bootable USB drive. Do an internet search on Rufus. Then do a search on how to use it and set up your BIOS to boot and install properly. There are many articles on how to create a dual boot system with WIndows 10 TP. I didn't know how to do any of this before I started doing internet search. It's not too hard, but can be a little tricky.

So I took the plunge and finally installed Windows 10 Technical Preview on my SP3. I am loving it so far but having some issues.

1. I can't activate Windows 10. Everytime I hit activate, I always get the error of "Windows can't activate. Try again later."
2. I can't connect my Office 365 account with Cortana. I have my Office 2016 installed over my Office 365 installation. When I enter my login information to connect the accounts it all goes smoothly until the end when I get the error message of "Uh-oh something went wrong..." in the connected accounts box.
3. Downloads and updates within the metro Store take forever to start and go sometimes. It's really strange.

Other than that everything else is fine. I'm thinking about installing Windows Phone 10 on my 1520. Are there any cool features that can be done with having Windows 10 on both phone and pc?

I didn't dual-boot. Windows 10 is the only OS on my machine.

Couldn't upgrade due to 0xC1900101 - 0x20004 error.

When attempting to upgrade to 10158, 10159 or 10162, I'll get a failure. This failure occurs with Windows Update or via the 10162 ISO. It achieves 80% of the "Copying Files" portion of the installation process, which is 24% of the overall, and then it aborts and restore back to the previous OS.

The ISO base
installation provides additional information:

0xC1900101 - 0x20004
The installation failed in SAFE_OS phase with an error during INSTALL_RECOVERY_ENVIRONMENT operation

Anyone else comes across this issue???
