16 bit application support for Windows 10

Hello guys.
I have an old laptop and I'm running Windows 10 latest build on it because I'm a geek. It is working fine.
I tried installing Pro Evolution Soccer 6 (I used to do it all the time in Windows 8.1, just needs enabling 16 bit application support)

When I tried to enable it in this Windows 10 I get FONDUE.exe something.
Here's the picture.

Need help please.

You just have to use that command format.
I've never done that thing, so I have no idea, but the instructions seem pretty straight forward.

fondue.exe /enable-feature [insert the feature that you want to enable, and the other parameters]

Re: 16 bit application support for Windows 10

If you installed the x64 version of 10, you'll need an emulator. Can't run 16 bit programs with 64 bit systems.

The 32-bit version of Windows 10 can run a 16-bit application. In build 10074 at least. When I copied in a legacy application into Windows 10 (running in a virtual machine), Windows prompted me to add NTVDM, the NT virtual DOS machine. After installing it and a restart I was able to launch the application.

The 64-bit version of Windows 10 will not be able to run a 16-bit application. Unless you need to address more than 4GB of memory you can install the 32-bit version.

Hope this help, but as always, your mileage may vary.
