So when I first heard about spartan I was quite excited as there was going to be a new browser, and because I don't quite like current browsers available, Firefox becoming crappy each day, Chrome becoming a memory hog and pathetic startup time etc.
So Spartan as most of us a pretty excited here, MS hit it with another minimalist UI. All was good untill I saw the settings menu.
I mean are they going to make the Internet Settings IE style for whole PC. The was the main reason I never been able to use IE.
Cortana integration, reading mode, Edge engine all good but that settings option is minimalistic as hell and what I was fearing all along.
Spartan might be crappy Modern App like the rest of them, optimized for touch kind of useless for desktop users with mouse.
The settings/features I would like from a browser:
A decent download manager (not the annoying type like in IE)
Middle Click to open new tabs and close tabs (In Firefox, half-available in Chrome)
Tab Pinning
Application/Protocol Association
Managing History (Individual site removal)
Managing Cookies (Copying or Editing or Removing Individually)
Password Manager with Two Factor Authentication
Good sync that works
Cache Management (Individual Sites cache viewing and modification or removal)
Certificate Management (When countered a bad SSL certificate give me an option to whitelist it (Because sometimes it happens just because SSL cert has expired)
Browser wide proxy setup (NOT system wide like in current IE)
And a whole lot of other options I can't remember right now
Currently spartan doesn't even show any of these not even in construction, Spartan looks like a mobile browser.

Well I had to scream about this somewhere, rant complete, enjoy your day.
