I have an Xbox One. I also have chromecast which is useless now because I have Amazon Fire TV stick. Unfortunately I only keep XO in my room, and use Fire Stick in Living room.

I want some sort of an media extender to extend the Xbox one to the living room. Wasn't Microsoft working on something like that with Windows 10?

If not, can we expect their Xbox Video, Xbox music, on other hardware devices like Roku or FireTV in the near future? I REALLY do not want to start buying movies elsewhere, and would rather keep them under Microsoft since I have WP, XBOX, Tablets and PC.

I would love Xbox Video/Music channels on Roku or Fire TV. I was just wondering about this the other day.

I don't see why they wouldn't. The Xbox One is not in competition with these sub $100 streaming units, at all. It's an opportunity for them to make more money and suck more people into their ecosystem.

It make sense right? I really don't wanna start my digital collection on amazon. I like their prime, but if I wanna buy and keep a digital content, I want it with Microsoft.
