Apps, runing more than a single instance?

Running apps on the desktop is only one step towards WinRT ever replacing Win32. Which brings me to the purpose of this thread, does WinRT even support the running of multiple app instances? With apps replacing some key parts of Windows, it's important that you be allowed to run multiple instances of apps. Project Spartan browser, Calculator, Office Apps, Messaging, etc --- those are some key apps that most would want to run multiple instances of at one time or another.
