When will Microsoft realize an app store isn't a numbers game? It's pretty absurd how much trash they allow into their own store. Is there seriously no thought put into what types of content is allowed when it comes to fake, scam & crapware apps. Why some of these apps below are approved is beyond me? Anyways, there some a few feedback posts in the Windows Feedback and a existing UserVoice thread as well...

They're going to realize that the store isn't a numbers game when consumers realize that app stores aren't about the numbers.

Exactly that.
But MS have to walk a difficult line - if someone wants to pay money for guide on how to install Spotify, then why shouldn't they be allowed to? Personally, I'd curate them out the door. Or at least into a draughty cupboard labelled "Rip-offs" in big letters.
