How can I fix a Windows 10 activation problem?

windows 10 activation problem

hi guys today after installing windows 10 build 10162 I ended up in a problem. the system says that I need to activate my windows because the previous key was blocked by microsoft. I don't have any idea how this happened because my windows 8.1 was genuine and I updated to windows 10 via insider program.

I had a similar issue where windows 10 build 10162 wouldn't activate. You can try this. Open up the run dialog with WINKEY+R, then run slui.exe 4 ... this should bring up the windows activation wizard for phone activation. Find your country in the drop down and then phone the activation number, follow the prompts and you should be able to reactivate your installation. It seems less likely an issue with our keys, than it does a bug that some of us encounter with the upgrade. Hope you manage to come right.
