Windows Phone apps will run on Desktops with Windows 10 as per Universal Store?

Will the apps which are currently available on windows phone(Like WhatsApp Messenger, Hike,etc) be available for my PC(Desktop) with the new Universal Windows Store?

No. Previously (8.1), to make a Universal App, you had to release separate packages to the separate stores. These packages would have the same name and id. Now, you release a single package to a single store, but it contains multiple builds for various form factors (desktop, phone,Xbox, hololens, and IoT). While the process is easier, you still have to enable spot for each form factor. So until your favorite apps get released as w10 universals with desktop support, no.
