Attachement handling in email

Given the enhancements in the file explorer app I wonder whether attaching files to emails from inside the email app works in Windows mobile 10?

Re: Attachement handling in email

Would you be more specific? Is it possible to attach locally stored documents from the file explorer app from within the email app?

Re: Attachement handling in email

Yes, I've been able to attached multiple types of files including Word and Excel. However, I haven't been able to send emails with attachments (I've used multiple accounts).
They just sit in the outbox. When I try to resend them from mm the outbox, it give me an error and said to add a recipient - when there is already a recipient and it won't allow one to be added anyway.

Ok so the function has been added only there is a bug?

Yeah, the function is there. Hitting the attachment button gives a list of apps and locations (like File Manager), seems like any type of file can be attached from within an email.

My issue could be a bug that's just on 830s or something with my accounts, who knows, but I'm sure it will be fixed eventually.
