Hi guys,

I'm a little bit confused right now. Before 4 day I made a clean install with the 10074 Insider ISO of Windows 10 Enterprise.
After installation I made an update to version 10.0.10240. Is this the final version? Because I also have a "C:\$Windows.~BT" directory full with data. Can anybody make this more clear for me please? Because my PC don't show "Preview Version" anywhere on system info, but I get this upgrade before 4 days, it can't be the final version!?

Regards Steffen

If you're using the Enterprise edition, you should be working with your IT department and taking this up through your Microsoft enterprise support channels.

If you're using a non-genuine version of Windows, then buy a license for the appropriate edition.

Hi we are a small 4 people company and I'm the IT department. We received Windows 10 Enterprise over the MSDN (we have full access on it). I installed the Enterprise Version to have access to the "Windows To Go Creator". So I'm still confused. :(

Sounds fair. Apologies for the implication of pirated software, but I guess you realise that it happens (we've seen plenty of people with non-genuine copies of Windows asking for help).

Unfortunately, this is a consumer-facing community, so may not be able to help with Enterprise editions of Windows. I'd advise you to raise your query through your Microsoft support channels.

Thank you, no problem. We have full access to the MSDN because we are BizSpark Startup company. :) As you said I copy my question into the Microsoft Support channel.

Perhaps you can answer a more generell question: How to check if I have installed/updated to the most new version?

AFAIK that version is the RTM build, I also have that on my desktop enterprise version.

As mentioned I can concur that the 10240 is RTM, I just did my surface this morning and have same version
