Windows 10 Stuck Copying Files

I'm at the "Upgrading Windows" screen and it's been stuck at 25% (copying files 84%) for over an hour.
Is this normal?

I got stuck at 32% copying files overnight. (8 hours) I ended up turning off my SP3 by holding down the power button and turning it back on. It restored windows 8.1 pretty quickly. I am just now trying the windows 10 install again.

It had to download again which was odd..

I'm stuck at the exact same percentages. Frustrating.. Hopefully I don't lose any files????? I did back up important stuff but not everything....

I had to restart but it just reverted everything back to 8.1 pro. No files were lost!

Microsoft needs to fix the update; same problem as I and many !

Don't force the update !

I have a Windows 8.1 computer I built myself, I tried 4 times couldn't get past 25%/84% copying. I unplugged my pc, took out my second HDD and then unplugged my dvd drive and finally got it to work. Try it. I'm at 99% and it's going. Yay it just finished haha

I waited for some more time it jumped to 91% and then restarted to installing features and drivers .
