how to fix onedrive in windows 10

in file manager when I click on one drive, I have to synchronize everything locally... I don't need file locally, I just need to see the cloud file without download them locally... I will need to downgrade to Windows 8.1 until this is fix...​
 
I don't seem to be having this issue. Are you sure you are downloading your OneDrive photos to your PC? Mine displays in the photos app, but are not saved locally.
 
It works with some apps that have direct access to Onedrive, like fotos or Onedrive app, but it does not work in Explorer anymore. If you desperately need that you can't upgrade. I still hope they change this back.
