Check in the app settings that the Sources of the Photos are properly marked - if not, just tap on "Add a folder" and add the folder where your photos are in. If you've got a lot of photos in your device, your device may take some time for all the photos to be displayed.
Alternatively, you can use File Explorer to view the photos you're looking for - this will also launch the Photo Hub together with the Photo if you tap on any of your photos in File Explorer.
