In windows 10, you're given the ability to drag the start menu to a larger size and enable a third horizontal row of tiles. Im an insider, and using 10240 (rtm). Even in tablet or full screen mode, still only the two columns. Anyone have a solution?

Could be related to your resolution. Do you mean vertical columns ?

To enable another row, you need to grab a tile and drag it down to the bottom.

I didn't have this issue on a preview version, but the RTM on my SP3 does the same issue as yours. I've found using it full screen is better, but on a desktop it would be a pain.
