Hello everyone,

I upgraded my Thinkpad 8.3 to Windows 10 a couple of days ago, and everything went very well. But now I decided to do a clean install to get more space and delete the old files.

The problem is, when I boot from the USB and get to the window there I have to choose the country, language and time zone the touchscreen doesn't work.

I tried updating the BIOS, didn't help.

Is there anything I can do other than buying a USB hub ?.

Re: Can't clean install W10 - Touchscreen stops working - Thinkpad 8.3

You're gonna need a mouse and keyboard for that.

Or slipstream the touchscreen drivers in.

this is exactly what happened to me last night. You are not alone.
When you clean install so goes the drivers. Just insert a usb cord mouse and you'll be okay. Once you finish setup, load the drivers and you are okay to go.
