I recently upgraded to Windows 10 and no sound available, how can I fix this?

recently upgraded to windows10 and no sound available

Post upgrade to windows10 I no longer have any sounds. All videos are silent. I have checked all the drivers and windows inform me they are up to date, I have tried to change the properties of the speakers in the advanced settings. nothing is working. interestingly when using Skype, I can plug in headphones and I can hear the person I am communicating with but when using an app like Spotify I cannot hear any sound.

Any help would be very welcome as to how i can fix this.

check the website of your devices maker.. there might be beta drivers available

Try playing with the volume for a while
