In Windows 8 I always pinned file shortcuts in the folder: C:\Users\Name\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs
Then I searched the filename and where it came up in the search results I clicked Pin to Start.
On Windows 10, it's not pulling up any of the shortcuts in that folder, and I can't find a way to pin them to start.
