Screen Resolution Stuck on 800x600, how can I change it?

Screen Resolution Stuck on 800x600

We installed windows 10 on our desk top computer from direct download. once everything was completed. The resolution on monitor is stuck on 800x600 and the desktop is compacted in the middle of the screen. The monitor is 19 or 20 inches, but nevertheless the desktop is about an inch and half smaller on each end of monitor. We were aboel to change through settings icon size, but still left with compacted screen. Any suggestions?

Do you have any specs on your pc? What graphics?

Try clicking the 3 dots kin the upper right of this screen then adjust ZOOM to your preference. Worked for me.

Check in device manager to see if your graphics drivers are installed properly. If not, try reinstalling them

AMD Phenom 9150e Quad Core Processor 1.80Ghz 4GB Ram 64 Bit. It is just the standard Graphics card.

If the graphics card is not supported then that could be the problem. You need to find out what the model or chip set your using is

Do you remember your motherboard's model number? If not download a program called Speccy and post the motherboard or chipset details.

I would also check to see if the video card drivers that were installed came out recently. Win10 automatically updated my ATI graphics driver the other day which messed up my resolution, the max was much lower than normal. I had to roll back the drivers.
