Why doesn't my sound work on Windows 10?

why doesnt my sound work on windows 10

when i click test sound, then i can hear sound but when im playing music or on youtube the sound doesnt work. the volume is full and my driver is updated

I had 0 sound on anything even though volume was up full, Imread that going into the sound card properties & ticking disable enhancements returns sound.
