Problem with Office 2013 files in Windows 10

Hi, so after upgrade to Windows 10 there seems to be "interesting" bug. Every single file (.doc, .xls, .ppt) is perfectly fine. I can open it, I can edit it... no problem. But that works only for a while.

Once I mail them to someone through Outlook, the files became unopenable with Windows claiming the files are corrupt. It's exactly the same whether I try to open them directly from Outlook or I download them first.

Any ideas?

I have had problems opening a couple of .docx files attached to emails sent to me and cannot 'fix' them with suggested methods (Word help). If I go to my email service website (Fastmail) and d/l the attachment from there, they opened ok. But through my email client (Thuderbird), not dice. I wonder if this issue is related to OP.
